As a grandparent, do you have visitation rights to your grandchildren? Unfortunately no, not automatically. In Oregon, you would have to pursue a third party custody case or parenting time case. These are extremely complicated and actually have several constitutional elements to it. That being said, there are many successful times where a third party can assert those rights.
