Andy Kralios’s legal career began at a large insurance defense firm, where he defended medical malpractice, products liability, and catastrophic injury cases. He received his Mater of Laws (LL.M.) from University of Washington School of Law, and his Juris Doctor from Western New England University School of Law (2008). He is actively barred in Washington, U.S. District Court (W.D. Wash.), United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and United States District Court, District of Massachusetts.
Immediately after earning his Master of laws from the University of Washington, Andy worked for the General Counsel of MultiCare System in Tacoma, where he collaborated with staff attorneys over day-to-day compliance, governance, and risk management categories to effectively advise numerous departments and clinicians.
Andy managed a solo practice in New England, where he handled family law and house court matters, class actions, state board complaints against medical professionals, and where he authored and won an intricate ERISA-based appeal to the First Circuit in Boston with co-counsel, and served as a contract Grievance Officer at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity.
Andy has a passion for advocating for those in difficult situations who need guidance and strong counsel, and his comprehensive understanding of the law and expansive work achievements have aided in his ability to approach his family law cases in a pragmatic and detailed manner, resulting in innovative solutions to complicated matters.
Outside of his legal career, Andy has also practiced in FDA and Health and Human Services regulation as the Chair/Vice Chair of a large Institutional Review Board, working in collaboration with MD clinicians and other scientist voting members to protect the rights and welfare of human research subjects.
Andy is bilingual in Greek, and often references a favorite Greek quote, «Ού μπλέξεις;», which loosely translates to a plea to stop and ask yourself, “Where are you entangling?”
