The Oregon State Bar was established in 1935 to license lawyers in the state as well as regulate the practice of law and provide services to bar members and the public.

The National Academy of Family Law Attorneys (NAFLA) recognizes exceptional family law attorneys in the U.S. with the prestigious honor of their Top 10 list. The attorneys who make NAFLA’s list must first be nominated by a licensed practicing attorney or an NAFLA in-house research staff member. If an attorney meets the minimum requirements of membership, he or she must be one of 50 chosen to advance to the final selection stage. The NAFLA’s Board of Governors then officially selects the Top 10 in each state.
